HAMPTONS SINGLES (Scroll down for calendars)
Always looking for new “single” members who enjoy socializing and getting out!
The HAMPTONS SINGLES CLUB is looking for new members. We are a group of singles who want to socialize with other singles who like to do the same. This is NOT a dating club and we are not all females or males. We are a mixed group who just like to have fun. Our dues are only $10 per year and we allow prospective new members to attend one or two events before paying dues to see if this is the organization for them. Our mission is to “ENHANCE THE ENJOYMENT OF SINGLE LIFE IN THE HAMPTONS BY PROMOTING FRIENDSHIP AND PLANNING INTERESTING AND FUN ACTIVITIES”. We do many different things each month and it seems like we find more and more to do all the time. We do some fun things in the park and some fun things out of the park. We do things like: shuffleboard,, miniature golf, go to movies, go to plays , go to concerts , meet for Lunch, go to museums, meet for Dinner, and have a game night at the Card Room. Of course, all club members do not do all of these things. They pick and choose according to their personal time and interests. To arrange all of these outings and events, we meet the last Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM at the Card Room to plan out our future outings. ALL MEMBERS are encouraged to make suggestions and participate in the planning of the events. Please come to our meetings at the Card Room, on any last Saturday of any month to meet us and to see what we have planned for the future. I’m sure there will be something for you.
For further information see the list of future activities elsewhere in the Herald or you can call
Judy Foster at 516-655-0114.
REMEMBER, WE WANT YOU!

WRITER'S WORKSHOP
We are beginning a "Writer's Workshop." The purpose is to encourage writers and to assist them in their writing projects. The workshop will meet on a regular basis to share with the group what the members are writing, to help members increase their writing skills, to provide feedback on what members are writing, and to provide programs that will encourage and enhance writing projects. The first meetings will focus on writing memoirs. Dr. Gary Shiplett, author of 10 books and numerous other publications, will present a talk on how he has written three memoirs (two of his own and one of a close friend). Please sign up for the group on the bulletin board and let Dr. Shiplett know of your interest.

The Hampton Choraliers
The Hampton Choraliers is a mixed chorus that specializes in singing four-part harmonies: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. They entertain the Hamptons community with two shows per year - a Christmas Concert and a Spring Show. The chorus usually has about 35 singers for the Christmas Concert and swells to about 50 for the Spring Show. Have you sung in church choirs, community choruses, or high school glee clubs? If so, the Choraliers might be a good match for your talents! From January--March, and September--March, rehearsals are twice weekly:
Thur. 11:00 am and Mon. 7:00 pm. Call for more information:
