Capital List Survey
August 18, 2022
Dear Fellow Hampton Residents,
The Hamptons Homeowners Association wants your opinion. The HOA has been asked by Sun to provide them with a “wish list” for capital items. Capital items are generally those things that cost a significant amount of money and last for many years. Because of that they are not included in the annual operating budget and go through a separate process that allocates funds for capital items. Capital items for a “wish list” might include such things as: a lap pool, a second entrance to the Hamptons or an additional space for smaller groups to meet, play cards or games.
Since there has not been a resident survey for 5 years and there have been a lot of changes in the Hamptons over these last five years, we would like you to help us create a more current “wish list” to present to Sun management. We also want you to know that once we submit the “wish list” to Sun we are no longer involved in the discussions or the process. Sun does not generally include HOA representation in any subsequent discussions about the “wish list” and the submission of a “wish list” does not mean that any of our wishes will be granted. But it is always good to give them information about what the residents would like that would improve the quality of life in the Hamptons for their consideration.
If you also have a suggestion about additional amenities (for example, a second pickle ball court) or activities (for example, a yoga class or group trips to Epcot or a museum) you can also include that suggestion in this survey. If we receive a number of similar responses, we will present those to Sun along with the Capital “wish list” that was requested. We believe we have designed a simple form to capture your input. If you have any questions, please feel free to call any one of the HOA board members.
Thank you in advance for providing your input. It is most helpful to be able to tell Sun that we have heard from many residents in this survey. CLICK HERE to complete and submit the survey. All survey submissions must be received by September 2, 2022. If you need a paper copy of the survey, please contact any HOA board member. Once completed, you can put it in the HOA mailbox in the clubhouse ballroom or return it to Kathy Wright (580 Tulip Circle E) or Mary Kay Colclaser (184 Golf View).
Sincerely,
Kathy Wright, President
