Hamptons 11-19-20 HOA Meeting At The Clubhouse - Also Broadcasting On Facebook Live
Your Hamptons Homeowners Association will hold its normal meeting of the Board of Directors on Thursday, November 19 at 7:00 PM in the clubhouse ballroom. Please note that meeting attendees will be required to wear appropriate masks and/or face shields and practice social distancing. Chairs and tables are spaced out as needed.
Although all residents are welcome to attend, the Sun Communities COVID-19 restrictions severely limit the capacity of the clubhouse ballroom to seventy-five people. This means a number of residents will not be able to attend in person. To accommodate all residents and for your safety, we have developed a way that interested residents can watch and hear the meeting – without attending – using our new HOA Facebook Group, as we will be broadcasting the meeting using Facebook Live.
If you’re already a member of the HOA Facebook Group, you will be able to view the meeting on the Hampton Home Owners Facebook page. Simply bring up the HOA Facebook page on your news feed or go to the page itself and you will be able to see and hear the meeting.
Please note that there will not be a means for those of you who are watching via live feed to comment or ask questions of the Directors at the meeting. Please feel free to leave any pre-meeting notes, comments, or questions in the white HOA mailbox that is located in the clubhouse on the closet door near the exit door to the right of the stage.
Also please note that there will be 2021 HOA membership forms available for those of you who have yet to join for the 2021 season. The fee is still only $15 for the year and payments may be either check or cash.
If you’re not a member of the Facebook Group, we invite you to become a member. The Hampton Home Owners Facebook Group is quickly becoming the primary source of information and communication for the entire Hamptons community. This is where announcements from the HOA and from other groups in the community are being posted, so being a member of the group means you will be up to the minute on the happenings in The Hamptons.
If you would like to become a member of the Facebook Group, it’s very easy.
1. Go to the Hampton Home Owners Facebook Group by clicking here.
2. Once the page opens, find the “Join” button, and click it.
a. A screen will come up asking you two questions: a) are you a homeowner or resident of the Hamptons, and b) do you agree to abide by the rules of the group?
b. Answer these questions and if necessary, click the submit button.
The Moderators will approve your membership based on your responses to the questions (above). If you send your membership request by 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, we will approve them prior to the meeting. If you request membership after that time, we will approve the membership but it may not be in time for you to view the meeting.
We urge you to consider attending the upcoming HOA meeting through the HOA Facebook Live Group. This will help alleviate the capacity situation as well as provide you with a level of safety unavailable by attending the meeting in person. While you will not be able to comment or address the board through the Facebook Live platform, you will be able to view the meeting in its entirety.
Thank you for your continued support of the Hamptons Homeowners Association.
Thanks,
Rich
