- Back to School: In August, HHH provides uniform shirts, jeans, shorts, underwear, shoes, and socks to 40 elementary students, and a “Case-It” 3-inch zippered binder to 75 middle school students.
- Christmas Party: Our “Christmas Party Program” for the students includes a visit with Santa, a jacket or hoodie, other gifts, and lots of cookies, ice cream, and punch. In addition, there is a sing-a-long of Christmas carols, dancing, and picnic-type games. The expressions of joy on their faces melts the hearts of us all.
- Mentoring Program: This program offers children a reliable and safe way to develop a significant relationship with a caring adult.
- Tutoring Program: We have many retired teachers and grandparents willing to help children during school hours with mathematics, grammar, writing, English, reading, and phonics. Guidance counselors in the Auburndale School District recommend our families. HHH volunteers visit each family home to determine the needs of the students.
